Information For Faculty
Our Vision is to be a recognized leader and exemplar of community partnerships and action. Our goal is to work closely with the community to promote healthy populations. This involves working to help meet the identified needs of agencies through the matching of our resources of faculty, students and infrastructure with agencies in specific projects.
One of our roles is to solicit projects from agencies that will be used as learning experiences for your students and /or as (research) professional development for you, as faculty. As we work across Faculties, we also have the opportunity to place students and faculty in interdisciplinary teams.
In order for the Centre to operate effectively, we need the active participation of faculty and students in projects. We encourage you to involve yourself and your students in the wealth of community projects that are becoming available through this Centre.
This section provides specific information particularly relevant to faculty. We invite you to explore the whole website for a more comprehensive view of the Centre. We also invite you to regularly check the page on "Projects Needing Partners", where we will regularly post faculty and student availability and expertise for projects as well as agency projects requiring faculty and students.
We are looking forward to working with you.
