Estate Planning Seminar
Estate Planning Seminar
Saturday, June 12

Most people prefer to give their money to family, friends and charities rather than the government. With a little planning you can structure your estate to ensure your money goes where you want it to go after you die, rather than into general government coffers.
Douglas College Foundation and Crossroads Hospice Society have teamed up to offer a free estate planning workshop that brings together legal, financial and funereal experts to discuss how to maximize the value of your estate while minimizing taxes.
Set for Saturday, June 12 at the David Lam Coquitlam Campus of Douglas College, the session features Don Drysdale, a lawyer with Drysdale Bacon McStravick; Colette Eng, a financial planner with Westminster Savings Credit Union; and Rob McCormick, owner of Burquitlam Funeral Home.
This free session is informative and interactive and participants should come prepared with questions. There will also be chances to win door prizes.
Admission is free but seating is limited and pre-registration is required. To register call 604-945-0606 or email info@crossroadshospice.bc.ca.
