How it works
- You submit a Co-op Employer Form (pdf) to our office, preferably three months before the start of the work term.
- Our office will send you résumés and cover letters from qualified students who apply for your position.
- We will send the résumés by email, courier or fax on the date you specify.
- You select the student(s) you wish to interview, and advise the Co-op Office.
- The Co-op Office schedules the interviews, either at your office or on campus.
- After your interviews, you select the ideal candidate and advise the Co-op Office.
- The Co-op Office contacts the selected student, and conveys the job offer.
- A few weeks into the work term, a faculty advisor makes contact to set up a convenient time to meet with you and the student.
- The faculty advisor is available to assist the student's learning on an ongoing basis.
- At the end of the work term, you provide evaluation and feedback to the student and his or her faculty advisor.
