How do I save money on course books?

1. Buy used books and save 25%.
Used books are 25% less expensive than new books.

2. Sell your book to us at BuyBack time.
If the book is being used in a current semester you'll receive 50% of the new price. Be sure to bring all the parts. If the book is not being used, but is needed anywhere in North America, the wholesaler will still offer you a percentage of the new retail price. If the book becomes an old edition, it will not be bought back.

The demand for used books usually exceeds the availability. However, from time to time the Bookstore will have all the copies it needs of a particular title. When this happens, the wholesaler may still offer you a percentage of the new retail price and ship it to where it's needed in North America.
And remember: whether you buy a book new or used, you can still mark it up and really use it while you study.  This does not affect the value at Buy Back time.

Buying and selling used books is smart because:

  • You save money when you buy.
  • You make money when you sell.
  • You help other students save money.
  • You help the Bookstore keep prices low.
  • You recycle.

These savings are available at your College Bookstore.
