Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Mathematics and Science Teaching
Do you dread teaching math? Are your science lessons "by the book"? It's time to get inspired!
If you're an elementary school teacher and you want to improve your ability and confidence in teaching math and science, consider the Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Math and Science Teaching. This two-year, part-time program is designed for working teachers - classes take place in evenings, on weekends and online, meaning you can work on your own time.
If you're looking for practical, hands-on experience in math and science that will lead directly to ideas that you can use in the classroom, and the opportunity to connect with other teachers in a friendly and positive environment, this is the program for you.
You'll graduate with a post-baccalaureate diploma, plus the knowledge and confidence you need to become a better math and science teacher.
Curriculum
Throughout six semesters, you'll conduct experiments in chemistry labs, puzzle over mathematics problems, look at geological formations with a geologist as your guide and look at the stars with an astronomer.
You'll build your knowledge-base while focusing on how to integrate what you've learned into your classroom teaching.
