Select from Modern Language classes during the day or evening in all three semesters (Fall, Winter and Summer). Classes are offered at both the New Westminster and David Lam (Coquitlam) Campuses.

Regular Modern Language courses (Fall and Winter semesters) are scheduled as four hours of class instruction and one hour of conversation lab per week. Intersession Modern Language courses (Summer semester) are scheduled for a shorter number of weeks, with eight hours of class instruction and two hours of conversation lab per week. Each class is worth 3 credits.

The conversation lab is led by a native speaker of the language you are learning. In the lab each class is divided into three groups of eight students. You participate in games, dialogues, role play, etc.
