The courses offered in Developmental Studies (DVST) range from the fundamentals right through to the college-prep level.
Assessment sessions are used to place you in the course best suited to your needs, your past experience and your present skills. Placement depends on your performance on a test and an interview with an instructor. The tests are not pass/fail tests; they are used only for placement.
Assessments are offered throughout the Fall, Winter and Summer semesters on both College campuses, but you must register by calling one of the numbers below.
It is important to register early to be sure that you obtain an assessment session prior to your registration date.
