Leadership Development Certificate Program
Effective leaders are more than just managers; they are visionaries who can articulate their vision, help others to understand it, then provide the resources and set the environment to move toward the vision. Effective leaders are needed in all fields, particularly in human services, education, health, recreation, business, governments and the volunteer sector.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will examine models for effective leadership, integrate theory with community and workplace leadership practice, and learn how to capitalize on diversity, guide work teams and be open and responsive to change.
Entrance Requirements
- Relevant work history (paid and/or volunteer).
- Strong oral and written knowledge of English.
