- Larry Laberge, Instructor,
Business Management Program
Do you aspire to a career as a decision-maker among the upper ranks of the business world? Do you want to be the one who makes it happen? Get your grounding in business management here, at Douglas College's Business Management Program.
Skills you can take to work or to university
The program explores a broad overview of the essential aspects of business management. You'll learn about accounting, quantitative analysis, marketing, math and statistics and economics -- knowledge that will help you decide where to take your business career. Classes emphasize developing real-world solutions to real-world problems.
Business instructors with business experience
Your instructors are as diverse as your interests, with varied backgrounds in financial services, retail, manufacturing, engineering and more. They have first-hand experience in the business sector and make their classes relevant to the real world of work.
Flexible Programs
The two-year Business Management Diploma Program shares core courses with other programs in the Faculty of Commerce and Business, so if you develop a passion for another discipline you can switch to a different diploma program for your second year.
Get advanced training and the credential offered with the Bachelor of Business Administration.
If the Business Management Diploma is still your goal, you can choose from:
- General Business, which allows a student to focus on a field of interest
- Business Administration Option, which focuses on developing management skills
If you want a one-year program, you can earn a General Business Certificate, on a full or part-time basis.
Free information sessions are available for this program.
You may also take part in the Cooperative Education Program, and gain paid, full-time work experience.
