Stream Admission Requirements

In order to apply to the Aboriginal Child and Youth Care stream, you must:

  • Meet the Douglas College General Admission Requirements.
  • Complete grade 12 English (minimum "C" grade) or equivalent. If you need to strengthen your reading and writing skills the College can help you develop a plan to do this.
  • complete 50-100 hours of relevant volunteer or work experience. If you have not yet done this, find a community setting where you can volunteer.
