On-Campus Student Employment
The jobs listed in this section are for on-campus, student employment. Students meeting the qualifications* can apply by following the instructions below:
- Download the posting of your choice to view the job description.
- Click on studentemployment@douglascollege.ca to send us your resume, as an attachment in MS Word or PDF file format. You must include your Douglas College Student ID# or indicate if you are a student attending another accredited public post secondary institution in BC. Proof of your registration will be required at the interview stage.
- Include the job posting name and campus location in the subject area of your e-mail when sending your application.
- Submit a separate e-mail for each position for which you are applying.
*To be eligible to work as a student assistant, a student must be enrolled in, and maintain, a minimum of one or more (3 credit) courses at Douglas College or another accredited public post-secondary institution in British Columbia, throughout the Summer 2012 term.
International students must be enrolled in full-time studies (a minimum of 3 credits for the Summer 2012 term, and must have been enrolled in at least 9 credits for each of the preceding Fall and Winter terms) to qualify to work as a Student Assistant for the Summer 2012 term. An original copy of a Social Insurance Number (SIN) and an original study/work permit are required by law before commencing work at Douglas College. An international student, who is not a Douglas College student, but is an international student at another public, post-secondary institution in British Columbia, is eligible to work at Douglas College as a Student Assistant only if s/he has a valid "Off-Campus" Work Permit.
