Helping People Succeed

Human Resources at Douglas: Helping People Succeed

The Human Resources team at Douglas is evolving. To help foster a climate of employee engagement, we are
going through a service redesign around a central mission of helping people succeed in their work.

We are organizing HR into a network with five areas of focus. Each area has a designated lead to guide activities and provide subject matter expertise to the HR team and to the Douglas community. This new organizational model will enhance our team's ability to:

  • Collaborate and work as a team through a more egalitarian structure
  • Share information and communicate more effectively
  • Effectively use available resources through a supported team approach
  • Help us to focus on activities that support the College's strategic goals

Please help us to help you to be great at what you do...

We are developing an HR strategic plan and we want to build it on what you need to be successful. In the new
year, members of our HR team will be coming to talk to faculty, staff and administrators about HR services.
Please help us succeed in our mission by sharing your ideas and perspectives about how we can help you to be successful in yours. We look forward to working with you!
