Team Excellence Award Nomination
This award recognizing a team-based quality effort at Douglas College, is given to teams of two or more in the Douglas College organization based on specific criteria.
Eligibility:
All Douglas College employee working groups, cross-departmental groups, task teams or committees are eligible for this award.
Criteria:
A cross-departmental group, working group, task team or committee nominated for this category will be a significant contributor to Douglas' educational/business processes, student success, or employee morale as well as meeting one of the following criteria:
- team excellence has brought about an enhancement of campus life
- team excellence has a positive impact on students, staff, departments or the College
- created efficiencies to work processes and increased productivity
- overcame challenges to achieve a goal through hard work
- achieved success despite difficult situations or unforseen problems
- improved service satisfaction of students, clients or colleagues
- achieved goals through cooperative and synergetic effort
- recognized individual contributions to the group
- enhanced College values
Selection:
- A nomination form must be completed and submitted to the President's Office
- The Adjudication Committee (President, one faculty, one staff member and one administrator) will determine the award recipients
- Successful Team Award recipients receive a plaque recognizing the achievement Nomination Form (pdf)
