Douglas College is proud to present this year's Summer Camps program. With more than 50 camps to choose from, there is something for everyone.
Douglas College Summer Camps run throughout July and August in New Westminster and Coquitlam. We offer quality camps at affordable prices. Take a look below at what we have to offer this summer.

Hot Lunch
Forget the paper bag and save yourself time with the "Hot Lunch" meal plan. Kids will enjoy the choice between hot or cold lunches. They can choose a daily variety of meals...Freshly grilled burgers, chicken fingers & fries, salads, hearty soups & sandwiches and Fridays are pizza days!! Yum!
A cold beverage and a choice of small dessert or selected fruit will be included.
- Cost: $40/Week (Coquitlam Camps); $35/week (New West Camps)

Sports Camps
Note: The gymnasium at the New Westminster campus will be undergoing renovations for the summer and sports camps that use a gymnasium will likely be moved to alternate New West locations. Sports camps in New Westminster with location "New West (TBA)" will likely be held at New Westminster Secondary School or Glenbrook Middle School. The exact location will be posted by April 28th. Camps outside of the college will not have access to the hot lunch program but the dates and times will run as usual. We appoligize for the inconvenience and look forward to having you be a part of our summer camp experience.
Badminton
Learn from the best. The Douglas College Badminton program is the top college program in the country winning the 2008 National Championships. This camp will feature half-day sessions with instructions of techniques and strategies. Camps will include both singles/doubles play and will be instructed by Douglas college athletes and national level players. Each participant will receive a summer camp t-shirt and a badminton racket.
Note: 3-Day Advanced Doubles Camp (Aug 5-7)
Geared towards tournament level players and wil include: advanced skills and doubles tactics, video analysis, and the use of feather shutttles. Skill level must be appropriate to sign up. Ages: 13-19 (Max 16 participants) Cost: $95 Time: 9:00am-1:00pm

Baseball
Don't miss out on our baseball camps, ideal for players of all levels. Topics will include hitting and stance, fielding and throwing and additional training techniques. Camps will be instructed by qualified baseball coaches and Douglas College players. Participants will receive a summer camp t-shirt.

Soccer
Learn European and Brazilian style "football" from BC's top soccer development centre coaches. Topics will include ball handling,footwork, dribbling, passing and shooting. Games to improve skills and emphasis on the fundamentals will be the highlights.

Track & Field
Become a decathlete! This half-day camp teachers the fundamentals of the track & field events. Sprint training for 100m, 200m, 400m and the hurdles. Pit events such as long jump, triple jump, high jump and the shot put. Instructed Douglas/UBC Track Coach, Besnik Mece.

Volleyball

Table Tennis, an Olympic sport since 1988 is played by more than 300 million people world wide

Film Production
