Just-in-Time training
Just-in-Time training responds to the changing needs of Douglas College employees. CEIT now offers appointments of up to 30 minutes to employees who have focused needs and who don't require an entire 2-hour workshop.
These offerings will concentrate on Office 2007 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), along with GroupWise, Blackboard and/or myDouglas. Please contact CEIT's Help Desk (email: helpdesk@douglascollege.ca, or phone 604.527.5330) for information or to schedule an appointment at either campus.
Customized Technical Training Workshops
CEIT also provides customized training for the specific needs of your faculty or department. If you and up to four of your colleagues would like focused training, please contact CEIT's Help Desk (email: helpdesk@douglascollege.ca, or phone 604.527.5330) for information or to schedule an appointment at either campus.
Orientations
If you are a Douglas College instructor, CEIT also provides classroom orientations to myDouglas or Blackboard. Please contact CEIT's Help Desk (email: helpdesk@douglascollege.ca, or phone 604.527.5330) for information or to schedule an appointment at either campus. For a successful orientation, students are required to have working Novell accounts so that they can log into a computer in one of the computer labs. You will be asked to book the appropriate lab for the hands-on orientation (or eclassroom for a demo).
