Scholarly Teaching

Scholarly teaching is addressed in the following ways at the College:

• Ongoing workshops through the Centre for Academic and Faculty Development Office help instructors to broaden and deepen their understanding of the theory and practice of effective classroom teaching. 
• Scholarly Reading Circles provide opportunities for Douglas College faculty to read and discuss books and articles related to teaching and learning.
