Special Request Test (SRT) invigilation arrangements
1. Douglas College students
If you are living outside the Vancouver Lower Mainland, you can make arrangements to do most of the required assessment testing in your area. We can mail assessment tests and challenge exams or email computer-based assessment instructions to an educational institution; either a post-secondary or high school. The invigilator cannot be a friend, relative, neighbour, student or co-worker and must be familiar with administering exams and with confidentiality policies. The invigilator will have to be approved by Assessment Services prior to any assessments or exams being sent.
You will need to provide us with the name, position (i.e., instructor, librarian), phone number, email address and complete mailing address of the individual at the institution who has agreed to proctor the exam for you. We will aslo require your name, student number, telephone number, email address, program of study and testing required. Note: some assessments are not available to be sent out of the college and no testing will be sent outside of the country.
2. Non-Douglas College students
Exam proctoring/invigilation service for Non-Douglas College students is available through Assessment Services based on calendar availability at a charge of $25.00 per hour which is payable by the student at time of write. Please phone 604-527-5483.Typing assessments for employment purposes or for other institutions are available to non-students for a $15.00 fee and are available by calling the Registrar's Office at 604-527-5478 or Assessment Services at 604-527-5759 to set up an appointment.
